The Nonsensical Aspects of Dewey Decimal 297 Public libraries have scrubbed their shelves of controversial aspects of Qura'nic Studies. I have read excellent synopsis of the four schools of Sunni jurisprudence, selections with intricate math calculations involving the laws of inheritance and division of property, the Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam, and the  lovely poetry of of Sir Muhammad Iqbal. My reading has been expansive, and some has proven enjoyable from a scholarly aspect. I am against the scrubbing of controversial texts because it is censorship.  All should be able to read and consider what Islam has to offer. There is the nonsense. You will not find it readily available.  It is on my shelf. But you should carefully consider whether Islam makes sense, or if it is historical nonsense.
