Municipal Noise Ordinances and the Call to Prayer It is considered one of the most important Ahadith.  It has one snad (transmitter) and a clear command: Abdullah asked the Prophet Muhammad (SAW), "Which deed is the dearest to Allah?"  He replied, "To offer prayers at their earliest stated fixed times."  Sahih al-Bukhari 527. The Muezzin who recites the Adhan will speak the following: https://earabiclearning.com/blog/2024/03/adhan-call-to-prayer/ This is power projection, behavior modification, and coercive control all collapsed into one action repeated five times throughout the day from the masajid of Muslim-majority nations. Let us never forget:  We are Americans.  And it is our primary identity.  Not all bow to this god who enslaves. We only triumph as a nation when we embrace and hold fast to our freedom. There is zero need for the call to prayer in America.   Muslim in America no longer need to await the "thin white line" on the horizon to kn...
Special Judge Susan Worthington: Fingers Around the Neck My vocabulary  - and perhaps the English language - lack sufficient words to describe the decision of the Oklahoma court with regard to Jesse Mack Butler. https://nypost.com/2025/10/22/us-news/oklahoma-teen-jesse-butler-walks-free-after-rape-conviction-sparking-outrage-from-parents/ This is not he-said-she-said teenage spat.  Jesse Mack Butler is a young adult male who profiles as a violent offender and has already established a signature.  He likes to rape and choke his dates into unconscious state.  He has done it twice. He will spend his lifetime repeating the behavior over and over again.  And he will refine his technique and kill one of his victims. Let's revisit the counts: two counts of attempted rape, three counts of rape by instrumentation, one count of sexual battery, one count of forcible oral sodomy, two counts of domestic assault and battery by strangulation, and one count of assault and domes...
Jackass Nation It really doesn't get any better than this:  https://www.politico.com/news/2025/10/20/paul-ingrassia-racist-text-messages-nazi-00613608 How many jackasses does it take to run a nation? Quite a few. As a child, my father would admonish his six children, "Just because you think it doesn't mean you have to say it."  Five of the six took it to heart.  I was born without a filter.  That being duly noted, my father took ample time to hone analytical abilities and impart a bit of wisdom.  Who doesn't enjoy spending time with a father who has just read a 300 page book about Chinese history... or who didn't believe that any book in our library should be hidden from the eyes of a prying child? Self censorship as a taught skill, but no censorship in reading selections.  Some of my finest moments with my father were over a plate of street tacos in Oaxaca, Mexico.  So how many jackasses are currently in positions of power in our nation? The jackasses...
Hamas and Negotiations The journalist:  "What is the troop strength of Hamas." The friend answered without hesitation:  "One billion". I understood the sentiment. It is rooted in an understanding of how a Muslim views their place in the greater world; rooted in the concept of Islamic Waqf; and anchored with an understanding of kalam. The classical Arabic name for Syria is Sham.  But also collapsed into the envelope of  Sham are the regions of Jordan, Lebanon, and Palestine.  Four regions.  Each one with significant importance which is potentiated when the four are viewed as snapped together. From both a historical and eschatological perspective,  the Islamic sentiment is strong. So we have a puzzle piece regarded as Palestine.  It is a significant Islamic Waqf.  But we also have a geopolitical stronghold with a military flank which has a strong adherence to the word Bitanah.   This line of thought is interwoven into the Hamas Articl...
Islam and the Self-Determination Movements For approximately a month before the "Arab Spring"  I patiently read and the considered the thoughts of individuals on a robust Al-Qaeda forum discussing the imminent uprising in Egypt.  The date had already been set and the general public remained unaware.  But the vibrant geopolitical discussions sent signal which greatly increased my curiosity. The date ( 25 January 2011), and the event at Tahrir Square which followed - had already been set in motion by Mohamed Bouazizi, an impoverished Tunisian street vendor who sat himself on fire.  He became the emblem of a rallying cry across the Arab states.  As I viewed a video of President Zine El Abidine Bin Ali leaving his turf with his aircraft laden with gold, his wife's hair was on fire.  "Get on the airplane, you idiot!"   The president was taking his time bidding farewell to a military general who accompanied him to the aircraft. As a journalist, I am dee...
Short Note I remain unimpressed with our policy "think tanks" and the caliber of thought which is generated. https://nypost.com/2025/10/20/opinion/mamdani-betrays-moderate-muslims-by-palling-around-with-extremists/ Having deconstructed this commentary as I read it, I lack both the time and the patience to break down the thoughts of this author. I don't do "feel good Islam". I do... Islam.
The Return of the Church to Exclusionary Policies Please view the video: https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2025/10/church-england-splits-losing-40-million-members-as/ Several years ago I sat in the pew and endured a narrative regarding homosexuality in the church.  The narrative ended with this: "You hypocrite!   First, take the beam out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye."  Matthew 7:5 The minister skipped the next verse:   "Do not give dogs what is holy: do not throw your pearls before swine.  If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and then turn and tear you to pieces." He experienced "Swofford Unleashed" in an e mail.  The question was a simple one.  What if there is a fourteen year old boy in the congregation who is being raped by his uncle and told it is "natural"...  and there is no need to feel shame?  You just sealed his fate.   Things shifted....
Choose your Own Title It has been quite awhile since I have viewed this type of a video.  https://x.com/AlJulanigangs/status/1978202053961806221 Just a reminder regarding the terrain of the mind. View the video.  Choose your own title. And consider the nature of bigotry.
Protecting the POTUS Like him or hate him -  he is a national treasure. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-15207473/trump-air-force-one-small-steps-increased-security.html Each American President serves as a reminder that the stewardship for our nation flows from Constitutional right, is protected by Constitutional right, and each serving President is meant to showcase  the strength of our Republic.  There is never a vacancy in the office. Contingencies cover emergencies. And when an assassination occurs, the seamless nature of our governance is interrupted for but a brief moment in time. The ability of our nation to survive is dependent on the viability of our President.  We can survive the singular national tragedy of a JFK assassination.  We would not have survived the assassinations of JFK, Lyndon B. Johnson, and Richard Nixon. The Office of the President of the United States represents the hopes and dreams of that additional and important national tre...
Harboring Terrorists on U.S. Soil "Evidence shows that on the morning of October 7, 2023, Al-Muhtadi learned about the Hamas invasion, armed himself, gathered others and crossed into Israel with the intention of assisting in Hamas's terrorist attack,' the criminal complaint says. But when he later applied for a visa to the United States, Al-Muhtadi denied he had ever been involved in terrorist activities - and he became a legal permanent resident in 2024." https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-15205791/Mahmoud-Amid-Yaqub-Al-Muhtadi-October-7-Louisiana.html The journalism questions apply: Who?     Mahmoud Amin Ya'qub Al-Muhtadi What?    Slaughter within an asymmetrical battlespace When?   October 7, 2023 Where?   Nova Music Festival, Israel Why?      Anti-Semitism And then there is the question I always ask first: Why now?  Why is Al-Muhtadi picked up now? In less than one year, a terrorist went from applying for a visa ...
Disruption He has disrupted economic markets,  culture,  education.  But the most formidable disruption is being experienced within the Department of War.  Potentiating our oath keepers as a national human resource for strategic lethality and operational capability remove us from the languishing years where service was reduced to servitude:  Servitude within a social laboratory which honored mental illness, servitude which allowed (a few) women to punch above their combat proficiency, and servitude to mediocrity which promoted based on a desirable identity profile as opposed to proficiency. Donald J. Trump.  Golden Eagle.  He continues to drop the goats off the cliff. https://thelastenglishprince.wordpress.com/2024/10/29/trending-blog-donald-trump-golden-eagle/ A bighorn sheep was just dropped - and Admiral Alvin Holsey will be piped off the ship in December. We should all thank him for his long career and service to the Department of the Navy. He dese...
Dear President Trump Dear President Trump, Since I am about to embark on my latest crime-venture it seems prudent to pop a little note into your private e mail. Let me introduce myself. I have always believed that my heritage was Cherokee.  But I had DNA testing done recently in Somalia and it confirmed that I really am Jewish.  This is wonderful news.  Because not only did my Jewish mother die on 9/11, but her cremains were placed into one of the pressure cookers set off by the Tsarnaev brothers at the Boston Marathon bombing on 15 April 2013.  As an aside,  I am also the first cousin of Ambassador Christopher Stevens; who was attacked and killed because of an obscure anti-Muslim video. But I digress. I know there have been rumors that I was a pole dancer in a strip club.  But since I lost an arm in Gulf II, it has been virtually impossible for me to find employment.  So, yes,  I did start a small PAC (political action committee) which helped bui...
Radule Bojovic I understand.  Really, I do.  Radule Bojovic stated that he loved America.   As a new recruit into the Hanover Police Department he received a starting salary of $78,955.70,  His 2025 earning statement showed income of $205,707 and his income would have triple for the year, had he not been detained by ICE.  Of course he loves America.  And perhaps for all of the right reasons. https://www.dhs.gov/news/2025/10/16/governor-jb-pritzkers-illinois-illegal-alien-working-sworn-police-office-badge-gun https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-15200335/ICE-arrests-Chicago-police-officer-accused-illegal-migrant.html But it is a hell of a lot of overtime. In Montenegro, Radule Bojovic would have earned a median salary of 21,000 EUR.  He chose to be the thief in uniform.  The thief in uniform and with a weapon too. And it is the theft of $205,707 in income which has been fraudulently and illegally stolen from an American citizen which place...
Congressional Taxidermy Consults In humane societies, the aging should be supported with dignity.  But perhaps our tax dollars should not continue to pay for the feeding tubes of our elderly, compromised Congressional body.  Isn't it about time that we consider taxidermy consults for our decrepit Congressional leaders who are lead about and propped up by puppeteers, otherwise known as their staff members?   The remote memory is still good. This allows them to give an appearance of functionality. But they cannot walk unassisted, have lost oratory skills, and remain obstinately barrel-chested against any suggestion regarding resigning for the good of our nation. The only thing lacking is they need to be stuffed and propped up.  Instead, their offices hire great ventriloquists.   Every damn one of them want to keep the feeding tube. You know, that feeding tube with a high osmolite load of power?  My own musings lean toward, "Ignore the ordinary adult...
The Nonsensical Aspects of Dewey Decimal 297 Public libraries have scrubbed their shelves of controversial aspects of Qura'nic Studies. I have read excellent synopsis of the four schools of Sunni jurisprudence, selections with intricate math calculations involving the laws of inheritance and division of property, the Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam, and the  lovely poetry of of Sir Muhammad Iqbal. My reading has been expansive, and some has proven enjoyable from a scholarly aspect. I am against the scrubbing of controversial texts because it is censorship.  All should be able to read and consider what Islam has to offer. There is the nonsense. You will not find it readily available.  It is on my shelf. But you should carefully consider whether Islam makes sense, or if it is historical nonsense. 'Alee ibn Abee Taalib also reported that the Prophet said, "The eye is the drawstring of the anus, so whoever sleeps should make Wudoo."    Collected by Abu Dawood (Sunan Abu Da...
SecWar New Press Credentialing Policy Years ago,  a high-ranking officer who respected my work as a journalist sent me the Alpha Precedence List from the Pentagon.  I now had in my possession the name of every officer and staffer and the location of their office, their title,  home address, cell phone numbers, name of spouse,  birth dates, anniversary date, children's names, etc.   It was an absolutely stunning document and I had no prior knowledge of its existence.  I kept it for an abbreviated period of time and then I destroyed it. The usual rule applied.  If it cannot be left on a desk where all can see it, then it requires a chain of custody.  It was delivered outside of chain of command, hence, an inadvertent but important leak of information vital to the national interest. Could I be trusted with the information?  Yes.  Should it have been in my possession? Absolutely not.  I was not within the Pentagon chain of c...
The Young Republicans Club Character requires disciplined thought.  And disciplined thought allows for discreet conversations.  Discreet conversations can make allowances for future disciplined and public disclosures.  We imagine ourselves in a Faraday cage.  We imagine little possibility of data extraction.  And then we are confronted with Luke 12:3 (KJV). https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-15193093/young-republicans-group-chat-condemned.html When I began to actively engage geopolitical journalism, I created a compartment in my brain for Islamic knowledge which was kept under lock-and-key.  I engaged international players with high levels of discipline and strong political creed.  This compartment was created to properly archive and safeguard confidential information.  But it was also a compartment which kept my own character in order and my oath of office intact.   This was my Beta model of "Telegram".  In reality, it became...
A Small Shift Regarding Freedom of Expression It is a small shift in the right direction and it is a reminder to non-citizens: https://www.reuters.com/world/us/us-revokes-visas-six-foreigners-over-comments-made-about-charlie-kirks-death-2025-10-14/ The United States Constitution is written primarily with the American citizen in mind.  And while it provides an expansive canopy for the non-citizens who live here, these individuals must never forget that they are our guests.  And as our guests,  behavior should be exemplary. The ability of the non-citizen  to remain here is at the pleasure of our Department of State.  The welcome can be swiftly and legally rescinded when the non-citizen presumes upon the same right to an expansive freedom of expression as that  afforded the citizen. With citizenship come certain unalienable rights.  With guest status - the welcome mat can be yanked. If you are here as a non-citizen, learn from us.  But do not allow y...
The Ancient Code President Trump is disrupting the order of  Saudi Arabia and the Gulf States - those who have been equal among themselves for many years.  Middle Earth clashes with Enlightenment. And the Tolkien elements of this particular story cannot be avoided. It is the sandal against the shoe; the folklore of the camel against the isotope.  It is the medieval wars of Frederic II which sought strength through confederacy; the greater ambitions which court the smaller aspirations: Iran and Yemen... Lebanon and Gaza.  The balloon expands its gases, but it is the same balloon.   The Ancient Code gives booty to the combatant and is dismissive of the potential of the peasant. It enriches the few and impoverishes the rest.  Not only their lives, but the social etiquette and traditions which anchor their own culture will be erased.  The Ancient Code does not assimilate but demands assimilation. It does not anchor but it imprints.  It hosts-with...
President Trump:  Human Smelter  https://thelastenglishprince.wordpress.com/2025/10/13/trump-at-the-knesset-the-right-person-at-the-right-time/ Time stamp 6:16 a.m.   Watching the POTUS speak at the Knesset.  A protester entered the parliament.  Initially, only his shouts could be heard.  This set me back on my heels.  Were we about to witness and attack on the American President?   President Trump merely stopped speaking and watched.  As the man was removed, Trump merely stated, "That was efficient."
For Immediate Release:  Hamas Press Briefing As we welcome our brothers from the Israeli prisons, we are reminded of  Uthman, who was wrapped in a mat of palm leaves with a fire set under him; recall the travails of Bilal, the slave of Omaiyah bin Khalaf, who was beaten, subjected to deprivation of food and water;  of Ammar bin Yasir, who was beaten - and his father who died under torture. We remember the Muslims of rank who were wrapped in the raw skins of camels and left in the sun; and the many as-Sahaba who died in the Ridda Wars.  Let us never forget Sa'd bin Abi Waqqas who was first to beat and shed the blood of a polytheist for the sake of Allah. We remind you of the story of Dhul-Qarnain... of al-Ghaib... of the world of the Alamin... of creatures with one sandal... of the crow of the cock and the bray of the donkey.  We remind you of what is headquartered on the seas.  We remind you of the words of Abu Huraira who narrated that Isa would descend an...
An Archived Video and a Renewed Hope The video is "old news" for me, as I viewed it when it was released. But there is a codicil of hope attached to the video now.  https://x.com/mog_Russ/status/1977361849646510285 Quickly scanning the news.  Watching the Taliban maneuvering along the Durand Line,  the return to Gaza by thousands of residents, and Palestinian flags waving in Oslo for the FIFA qualifier match between Israel and Norway yesterday.  Israel lost 5-0 to Norway. I will be writing at a later date about the prisoner release in Israel - from an Islamic perspective.  John 1:46 comes to mind; substitute the word Gaza for Nazareth.   The "Powers" somewhat assume that a terror action planned, orchestrated, or committed by those (soon to be) released is as likely as receiving a shark bite in Kansas.  How easily Yahya Sinwar is forgotten. sigh We can't win - because we are not even playing on the same chessboard.  The terrain of the mind is ...
Scott Semaya:  Lord of the Flies Shipwrecked on the small island of "ThisBitchNeedstoDie",  the five prepubescent males set about establishing a social order.  They  sent up regular smoke signals to attract attention.  But more importantly, they  sought to guard themselves against a monster named   Bellomo. Entering a small dark cave, the boys would huddle together to share their findings.  One lad stated  the skin was cold - unlike any cold ever felt upon the island.  Another stated that he had actually reached out to grab the teat of the female beast while she slept.  With a small nod to what he remembered of English colloquialisms, he stated,  "her nips could cut glass".  The boys were maturing... learning... and the mystery of male hormones became their guide.  Observations were no longer enough.  They began to actively stalk this legendary beast.  But the beast which was legendary was the beast whi...
The Long Shafts of Injustice On 30 September my brother called me.  Our mother had fallen in the shower.  On arrival at the skilled nursing center, we were told that her buttocks had missed the transfer back to the wheelchair,  but it was a controlled fall.  Essentially, a controlled fall is witnessed and the assisting companion breaks the impact of the fall by controlling the movement downward onto the floor.  As a Registered Nurse, I have on occasion performed this maneuver with a client. I checked my mother and she stated that her upper legs hurt.  I requested an x ray - out of an abundance of caution.  I was told the policy allowed for observation for three days prior to  ordering an x ray.  The next day, my mother's pain was worse.  Again, I requested the physician be called and an x ray obtained.  Third day?  Really bad pain.  X ray requested again. Mid-afternoon on 3 October, my mother was sent to the emergency room...
Trump's Nobel Peace Prize:  Make it a "Bronze" I will post a blog here later today.  I did cast my vote for Donald J Trump last year. But I also have a wicked sense of humor, and remain pragmatic regarding politics.  The state of the Union is strong, and I am not moved by political theater.  So strap in for the ride!  This will be fun! https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-15180839/White-House-fury-Nobel-Peace-Prize-handed-Venezuelan-opposition-leader-instead-Donald-Trump.html O.K.  Let's do this! The White House, in anticipation of a phone call from Oslo, Norway, was dealt (instead) with a public humiliation.   Ending "eight wars" was no match for the in-the-trenches fighting spirit of Maria Corina Machado.   The White House has a formidable negotiation team lead by Steve Witkoff.  A few cobblestone conflicts have been semi-resolved. Cambodia and Thailand declared a ceasefire almost as soon as the "war" started.  It lasted ...
For Those with Too Much Time on their Hands This is a portion of the chatter on X tonight from a "leaked" document. https://thelastenglishprince.wordpress.com/2025/10/10/is-it-a-leak/ Goodnight.
It Started with "Hello" It has been more than seven months since my Muslim friend entered the category of "Status Unknown". And it has been almost five months, since I last spoke to her father in person.  Four days ago,  I answered a phone call which established one small link of connectivity. At least three times,  I asked to see my friend.  I was met with silence.  So why?  Why the phone call?  It started with "Hello".  But it put me back on the path of journalism regarding how I view linguistics, grammar, syntax... semiotics.  But more importantly, how I view each word,  and each definition, in context to intent and motivation.   Words on the page; conversations do not dance - until intuitiveness joins in partnership. Years ago I took note of the word "random" in this film.  (time stamp 27 seconds) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L0zmsrMpXVU Merriam-Webster gives the definition of random as, "lacking a definite p...
TRUMP Yesterday the post was about Hamas.  Today, this headline. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-15175779/Trump-celebrates-peace-Middle-East-Israel-Gaza.html Making myself "fair game" for both criticism and further thought -take a moment to view this video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k5XEQ-RhRqY
Hamas:  Why There Will Be No Peace If President Trump is to be believed, the Middle East is on the verge of a peace deal which will tilt the earth right off her axis.  But if Hamas is to be disbelieved, this is just about survival and living to fight another day. This link - is the best reading for the Hamas Covenant. I have read it many times.  https://avalon.law.yale.edu/21st_century/hamas.asp While the document is written using "balagha", the eloquence of speech attributed to the fourth Caliph Ali,  the document has distinct deficits.  Not quite as nonsensical as "The Green Book" written by Muammar Gaddafi - it does come in a close second.  And in a sloppy, synoptic way, it reminds me a bit of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Iran. But then again, there are echoing militant thoughts that remind me of this document: https://irp.fas.org/world/para/docs/980223-fatwa.htm Rule of Thumb? Anytime the "prophetic" is used as a justification for a mili...
